Very frustrating experience with an apparently unresponsive burocracy. I give one star because zero stars isn’t an option.

I am a former firefighter who is permanently and totally disabled due to a back injury. I tried to schedule a surgery for my injury with Kaiser Permanente. They denied the surgery claiming that it was considered experimental, even though they have surgeons performing it at least one of their facilities in this area. They also violated 3 Medical Utilization Review Regulations in their response. I sent a detailed letter of complaint to Colorado Division of Insurance by registered mail. After hearing nothing from them for weeks, I called multiple times and left messages to see what was being done about my complaint. When they finally called back and I was able to speak to a supervisor, she was insistent that I file an appeal rather than them penalizing Kaiser. After more than 3 months they have done nothing. In my opinion this Division serves no purpose and should be eliminated.

I was just about to call with my question of concern and noticed the ratings. It initially says 5 reviews 3 stars. I go to the reviews and there are actually only 3 reviews not 5, all of which left a 1 star rating. According to their figures 3 (1) star reviews gets an "average" of 4 stars, which brings them to a 3 star rating. REALLY? I am already being lied to before even calling them which only insures the runaround treatment if I do call them. And quite frankly, it doesn't say much about their inelegance if they don't realize that 3, 1 stars reviews = a 1 star rating.

I called DORA to inquire about a practitioner who advertises themselves as registered under DORA, but isn't actually registered--this was confirmed by someone working in the License Office at DORA, who then transferred me to the appropriate office to report it. I was told it would only be investigated if I filed a formal complaint, including providing the patient's information, despite the fact that this 'practitioner' is seeing clients, has a web page advertising their 'registration' and can be looked up by anyone--is that how the law works?? Practice whatever you want, and as long as no one files a complaint you're fine? Quacks, welcome to Colorado.

The one star is for responding to my complaint and for contacting the company on my behalf from their response it seems that they read the information I gave them and im grateful for that. But just not enough resources where put into researching my claim I think this is unfair, this is my life here my whole career depends on this case. I know a lot more than many of the people you see sitting in offices wearing fancy expensive suits and its just not fair The media spends hours on issues like nuclear bombs for instance, I can tell you for a fact that they will not be a nuclear war in the next 20 years and the Russians are not a nuclear threat to the US, No Russian missile can reach the US or Destroy an entire state like the media suggest that's just not true, us missile defense is way too advanced for them. I have good skills but im struggling to get by and its just not fair, billions of dollars are spent ignoring people like me and its just not fair. Concentrix the company I was working for did not even respond to my complaints not an email or call nothing at all. The world is getting better in some ways and worse in others and although America is a lot more habitable than africa, there is a big problem looming with hypocrisy, crooks and thieves have used hypocrisy to attain wealth and positions of power and the result has in some cases made the workplace a very frustrating place to be in. I for one have nearly reached breaking point after realizing that the company I was working for did not offer the equal opportunity they promised. Its very easy for people to give in and turn to the streets selling drugs and doing other illegal things, blacks especially where at the bottom of the heap indigenous black Africans especially. Mr Chris Bays a manage at concentrix lied to me and then lied to DORA about some documentation he requested from me, he then dismissed me unfairly. I wrote over 30 pages to DORA explaining this issue and other issues, it took me an entire week. It took them 1 year to respond and when they did their response was only 5 pages. They did not make any effort to get information from the company that could prove Mr Bays was lying, my whole career is at stake here and it seems like they don't care. African Americans deserve a chance because their ancestors worked building countries some for their whole entire lives for no wage, American companies make billions of dollars from African raw materials its only fair to give us a chance at work and in school. Mexicans and Asians also deserve a chance because many of their parents worked to build this country. I would hate to put words into other peoples mouths but I think minorities deserve better. When I pay taxes I pay the same amount of tax as the people who insult me and treat me like an early 19th century colonial servant. I always do my best at every task im given, I work very hard whenever given the opportunity and I think I deserve a fair chance in the work place and in school. Obama said if you keep heading in the right direction you should get to where you need to be so ill keep it moving, Bush said Good always prevails over evil so I wont take the law into my own hands like many people do. So maybe someday in the future when several centuries from now the concept of racial equality will be a reality. But today justice has failed and I really don't think Erin Hayes has was it takes to fight racism in Colorado, I really dont God help us.
