Pros: We stayed at The Colorado for two nights - absolutely wonderful! The views are perfect and the cabin was beautiful. There are neighbors on either side, but the tree cover provides plenty of privacy. Pikes Peak from the back patio was stunning, the hot tub was super nice, and it was easy to get to town and everything. 4wd is recommended for the winter, as the drive up to the cabin is very steep. Overall great experience. Cons: The directions provided to the cabin were confusing - we used our GPS instead and found it just fine. The cleaning/checkout completion list is extensive but totally understandable. Only major downside is the 6-adult (and it must be couples or families) limit, when there is room to sleep at least 9 people.... we would have really liked to have had more people join on our trip for my boyfriend's birthday. Other con was having to rent linens/towels, when already paying quite a bit for the cabin... but really not that bad, because it's a cheap rental. I believe it was $10/day. All-in-all, will probably stay with them again as long as we don't want that many people to join us. I highly recommend The Colorado!

We stayed at the bunkhouse last week, the worst cabin we ever stayed at...was not impressed at all, I called the office as soon as I got there and asked her if we could move to another cabin..her reply was no..at this point I knew we were gonna have to suck it up... If you have small children I wouldn't recommend this cabin at all...the stairs drop straight down to the second floor, I was so glad I didn't bring my 2 year old grand baby.... The floor's on the balcony were very unstable.... I always clean before I leave anything... But they expected you to go above and beyond ..and it was not that clean when we arrived... We had to kill spiders out of the bath tub... We couldn't use the downstairs because it was way to hot...so we all had to make due in the up stairs part. ..half of the sheets didn't match the bed's... But yet we were charged for every set....was not told about the horrible road to get to the cabin... It was almost a wash out....you really need a 4 wheel Dr.... Absolutely awful.... My first and last trip to Colorado... Oh and the view from the balcony was blocked by pine trees...and the people in the office could care less if you stayed or left...so we cut our trip short and stayed the four nights instead of five... Would not recommend this company.... PS... also had to keep all your trash in side until you go to check out and take it back to the office at their dumpster...so don't ignore All the bad reviews they are here for a reason... I wish I would have done some research of my own!!!!

I had an pretty fantastic stay with Colorado Mountian Cabins. The cabin we stayed at was clean, well maintained and gorgeous, with a beautiful interior and amazing views. They made it convenient to pick up the keys for the cabin even after hours, and provided us with more than enough information to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

We stayed in cabin 12. It has great views from every window or porch on the property. No flat Yard, but you're in the mountains so I didn't expect one

We stayed four nights at the Clark Homestead and had an amazing time!!! The view is absolutely gorgeous! Pikes peak looks awesome from the cabin and it was fun to hike around the property. We enjoyed our stay very much!
