Convenient with knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Their stock is limited (being a small store) and generally does cost more, but they do carry a wide selection of products. Personally, I'll pay more for a product if the staff is knowledgeable. Friendly is a bonus. If they don't carry something, they tell me where I can find it. I appreciate that level of service since most businesses don't want to refer to their competitors. Thanks!

Went there to get two keys copied. The service was quick and everyone was very friendly. Plus I got free popcorn! Woohoo.

Since it's time to fire up the mower I needed to get my blade sharpened.  I took it in to this Ace Hardware and dropped it off.  They said they would call me when it was ready and it should only take a couple of days.  After six days with no call, I called them.  They said it was ready.  Finally.

When I picked up the blade there was blue tape over the cutting edges.  I removed this to see the sharpening job and discovered that they had done such a bad job that there were numerous visible nicks on the sharpening edges.  I have had mower blades sharpened for years and have never seen one done this poorly.  I asked them to redo it.  They reluctantly did.  

When I picked it up the second time the nicks were gone but they had dulled the cutting edges so it was like a butter knife.  It wasn't sharp at all. Obviously, the person doing the work resented me having him redo the job.  That was bad enough but when I went to pay, they wanted double the price!  I told them that I wouldn't pay for there first bad job.  I probably shouldn't even have paid them for the second bad job.  Is this how they always treat their customers?  

I give them one star only because I couldn't give them no stars.  Think twice before taking your mower blade here for sharpening.  I wouldn't go here again.
