The ambiance is all Texas!! The brick oven pizza is amazing, staff is friendly and constantly follow up! Plenty of nice big HD TVs which provide a nice view from any seat.  A must when visiting Gonzales!!

The food & drinks were delicious & the staff where very friendly and nice too. My mom got the steak & she enjoyed it a lot including the shrimp and potatoes. I got the chicken strips they were delicious and they tasted homemade including the French fries I got too. Thank you for the great service I appreciate it.

Poor service had to wait 20 minutes just to order drinks. Ordered pizza and it was quite tasty but barely warm so some of our guest's found iy quite distasteful and refused to eat it. Next several ordered the supposed best hamburger, ordered medium. The hamburger was cooked so done it was inedible. Another disappointment.  Everyone decided worst meal ever. Decided to give it another try and called for carryout. Called for carryout and after letting the phone ring a lengthy time someone finally answered and I was told they couldn't hear us and hung up. Called again and no one answered. Well we certainly tried giving the Come and  Take It another chance. Our usual party of 10 decided to try Spirits and Steaks.  Service was excellent  ordered drinks and they came in due time and were mixed to everyone's satisfaction.  Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all decided we will definitely return.

Great food and atmosphere at the Come and Take It Bar & Grill. For family outings or to watch the game, they are the place.
