Service was good. Pool was cold and hot tub was not working. Bed was not soft. Lots of pillows! The shower was lukewarm at best! From my understanding the rooms have been recently redone. Quality the craftsmanship is not apparent.

Overall a good experience. We liked the renovated look, the complimentary breakfast, and the value. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward in the room we stayed in. The bathroom itself was just the tub and toilet, but the space was very small. Closing the door while you were in the bathroom required a bit of maneuvering. The sink was outside the bathroom next to the entrance to the room. Just an odd layout. Another downside was one of the front desk employees. She was rather inattentive and seemed kind of like she'd rather be somewhere else, even when a manager redirected her attention to us. Still, the other staff were friendly and it is a decent place to stay. Would recommend.

It was one of the most unsatisfactory experiences I have ever had at a hotel. We drove 2 1/2 hours for the Honda family festival at cedar point and arrived at the hotel around 3:30 on 9/9 and checked in. We just grabbed the keys and went straight to the park without checking the room, which we shouldn't have to do in the first place being it's the hotels' job to make sure the room was worth the $180 I paid for it. We walked around cedar point for 7 hours and got back to the hotel around midnight ready to sleep. We got to the room and the beds are incredibly small for 2 adults per bed not to mention chips in the wall and torn apart furniture. We tried to get a cot. Front desk didn't even know if they had any. Seriously? Before even unpacking we tried to turn on the A/C. It wasn't working. Told the front desk. The clerk flipped a breaker or something and the A/C came on but the bed lamps went out and wouldn't turn back on. Called front desk. Clerk said tell the guy that deals with the cots. Okay! Thanks for telling us we got one and to expect someone to show up with it. Then bed lamp came on but wouldn't turn off. So we just decided to go get our money back and leave. Go back to the room to pick up our things and the cot guy shows up. Out of everyone we dealt with, he was the most pleasant. What really pisses me off is not even getting offered a different room, a discount, or at the very least an apology for the events of the evening. We did, however, almost not get a refund and accused of trashing the room. Are you kidding me? If this is how you let your employees treat your guests I will never stay in any chain of yours again. I will advise my friends and family against it and post this in as many places as I'd like. Thanks but no thanks for the very unrestful and frustrating night.

We arrived at midnight and the woman at the front desk was very nice. We got to our room, changed into pajamas, and got ready for bed. While getting ready, we realized that the bathroom had not been cleaned. We were completely grossed out. We decided to go to bed and take care of the issue in the morning. The woman at the front desk was very understanding and said they're having housekeeping issues and she would speak to the manager. After eating an ok breakfast and getting our stuff in the car, I went back to front desk where I checked out but I spoke with a gentleman instead of the woman helping us before. He was less than understanding and told me I should have changed rooms. How about don't give me a bathroom with poop in the toilet! Don't think we'll stay there again.

Really nice! The pool is great, and the room (I got one king bed) was really nice. Included a microwave and sizeable mini fridge. It did get a bit warm, though. The AC may be broken in my room. No fault to the hotel! A great place.
