Had a great experience at the hotel itself. Our kids really enjoyed the water park and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. 

After we left however, I discovered that the hotel had charged my debit card an addition $200 for our stay despite the fact that I had paid for the room in full when I booked it. The staff seemed annoyed when I called to request a refund and told me it will take 10 business days for my money to return my account. 

I had to budget carefully to afford the room for the trip were taking. Comfort Inn & Suites might as well have thrown a hand grenade into my bank account with their screw up.

Rooms very clean, very nice linens and comfortable bed with pillows firm and soft as indicated by card. Sofa in suite was comfortable and shelf and lamp behind it were nice Ely appointed. Professional and genuinely friendly staff and housekeepers. Problems with noisy gathering outside was dealt with promptly. Breakfast bar had many choices. Personal item amenities in bathroom were generous and of high quality. Beds VERY comfortable. Price was reasonable and we were upgrades to king executive suite for no charge.

First the good, the staff was awesome! Friendly and inviting when they greet you and they had all of my previously sent paper work on file (I travel for business and 90% of hotels can't be bothered with the paper work I send and I have to reproduce it). Throughout my stay every single person I interacted with was awesome. Hotel is in a good location in uptown Plattsburgh many chains to eat or ship and a quick drive to the college or downtown towards the lake. Now for the bad, the bed was by far the worst I've ever slept on in a hotel. It felt closer to a trampoline than a bed, firm and bouncy. Not sure I could of made it a week forvthat reason alone.

Great experience! With the indoor waterpark (2 slides adults would love, and a wading splash pool that kids loved) and the arcade as well as the on-site restaurants, it honestly felt like a resort, only at very low prices. We stayed 2 nights and it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy all the amenities. Then got gas at the Sam's Club next door and continued on the family road trip, refreshed and happy!

I liked the hotel. The room that I stayed in was a good size and the employees were very nice. The one thing I disliked was the pool. It had two water slides that took up most of the space and there was no room to swim. But overall I liked it.
