Commerce Veterinary Hospital, Inc. was established in 1954 by Dr S.J. Shirley as a primarily large animal ambulatory practice for treating cows and horses for many of the local farmers. Over time, it evolved into one of the largest small animal practices in Northeast Georgia. With an exceptional staff, Commerce Veterinary Hospital provides routine, surgical and preventative care to Commerce and the surrounding communities.

Reviews

Have always received great care from the vet staff for our two dogs and one cat.  Vets explain conditions, probable solutions and multiple options. They can usually see you right away. Prices are a lot less expensive than our previous vet. We believe they are great vets offering care. Most of the staff at reception is very friendly and helpful. However, some staff could use some additional skills in greetings and customer service.

I have been taking my Grand FurBaby he while he has been staying with me. The staff is so friendly and I love the Vets that work there. The place if very clean. They always take us right back to a room as soon as we get there. We are usually in and out very quickly. Thirty minutes had been my longest wait and that was when he was given a bath. The prices are pretty cheap and they are great with your animals. I highly recommend trusting them with your fur babies.

I brought three of my sister's dogs to be groomed. The young ladies were very helpful who checked the dogs in.
The only problem I had was the price. I didn't know that individual procedures were different prices. I  feel the cost of the bath, nail clipping, anal gland express should be on a piece of paper explains the price of each.
The two little dogs didn't look combed.
The big lab was shiny and smelled fresh.

I had originally thought my experience with this vet was bad. When they realized I was upset they called me at home and made it right. In a world of poor customer service they really stepped up and went above and beyond what they had to . The vet walked us through a very difficult time of making some very painful decisions about our beloved boxer of 10 years. I would highly recommend this vet . They really seemed to care in a world full of apathy.
