I wish I could rate Dr. Bane's staff apart from him. He has a great staff. However, I found him to be extremely rude and lacking "bedside" manners. Being knowledgeable is one thing, being pleasant is another. He could definitely use some assistance in learning how to at least pretend he cares enough to answer questions versus shrugging his shoulders. Who does that? I was completely turned off. My husband and I were there twice (second time was a follow up visit to view the results of his CT scan) and I found him to be dismissive and very abrubt both times. If you're looking for someone who's willing to take time to listen to your symptoms and then explain what's going on, you might want to keep looking. He's not it.

Best Doc in Woodbridge! Dr. Bane cared for our 8 month old when she needed ear tubes for repeated ear infections. He and his staff were able to get her an appointment extremely quickly and were so accommodating at the office visit. The procedure was explained in detail and his knowledge and demeanor were extremely reassuring. The procedure went very well and he called us personally that night to check on how she was doing. He is trained not only in basic ENT but also in more advanced ENT surgeries, he did my procedure last year! Dr. Bane is compassionate and knowledgeable and I would recommend him highly!

I saw Dr Bane on my first visit, I have made an additional appointment to see Dr Komes the audiologist. Don't judge a book by its cover. Got an appointment within a days and he couldn't be nicer. Cleaned out my infected ear. Even though my ear didn't completely heal (very stubborn ear infection) and had to go again, I couldn't be happier with his level of expertise and his patience in explaining my infection. I definitely recommend.

Great decision coming to this office. I had the balloon procedure, my insurance allows it, I followed after care post op saved myself thousands of dollars in facility and anesthesia fees! Feeling great! Office is clean and efficient, they made me feel at ease in a stressful situation. The doctor doesn't waste your time or money with unnecessary testing, he will refer out (he did my son with his allergies) As a group, each of the staff members cared for me and wanted to help me get better.

My visit to this doctor for a vertigo/inner ear problem was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. I had already been diagnosed with labrynthitis 2 days earlier and suggested I visit a ENT. The staff was very helpful in getting my appointment (reason for the star). The doctor entered the room asked if I was feeling better now, looked in each ear and said it was not my ears. I was taken back by his quick diagnosis and said then what do you think it is. He opened the door so followed feeling a bit numb as I walked down the hall asking him again what he thought it was, his answer was "it could be anything"! At that point I was upset not only from my symptoms which were pretty bad but that I would get such a response from from a doctor. He spent less than 2 minutes with me and billed my insurance company $200. I have since gone through several tests that have given me a diagnosis of vestibular neuritis/vertigo/labrynthitis which is an inner ear problem diagnosed by a neurologist and an ENT and audiologist. He did not suggest any further testing and just seemed as though he didn't want anything to do with this. I would not recommend him to anyone. One Very Disappointed Patient
