Story

Community Health Connection, Inc is a 501(c) 3 Federally Qualified Health Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Mission of Community Health Connection is “to provide affordable, accessible quality healthcare across all life cycles regardless of ability to pay that respects the dignity and culture of our community now and in the future.” Individuals of Hispanic/Latino identity make up 71% of the CHC patient population. In 2011, 67% of patients were best served in a language other than English; mostly Spanish. Primarily Community Health Connection is a health clinic, but also provides behavioral health services. The clinic provides services for a fee, charged on a sliding scale basis determined by the income and financial situation of the patient’s family.
