This facility should not even get one star. If your person gets sent there, remove them as soon as possible. It's dangerous, underfunded, and non-compassionate. The doctors there spend almost no time with their patients, allow PAs to do most of the diagnosing, and do not consider the opinions of the techs and nurses who are with the patients on a daily basis. Your person will be kept for a long period of time, at the mercy of an out-of-touch board who have weekly meetings based on incomplete information about patient progress. If you have the misfortune to be court-ordered there, obtain a second opinion as soon as possible from a both a reputable psychiatrist and a psychologist, so that your loved one can receive the help required. The state seriously needs to shut this place down.

It's been four days and I still can't reach anyone to find out how my partner is and they just keep saying they aren't eligible for visits and refuse to tell me why. I honestly have found myself wondering if I was talking to a patient rather than a staff member when I did speak with someone. I have left numerous messages on the nurses voice mail and am yet to receive a call. I hope we never need any facility like this again but if we do I would gladly drive hours out of my way for my partner's sake and my own peace of mind to have the confidence they are being treated appropriately. I have no faith in the competence of the staff at this facility. One time when I called the front desk and asked for the nurse by name the receptionist told me they didn't have a patient by that name after I told him I was requesting a nurse. This only further deepens my concern seeing how these people don't even know their own staff. I will update my review once I've completed the entire process as of now I am not impressed. To say the least... It's been two months since I originally posted this review and as promised I'm updating. I found out about a month ago that the diagnosis this facility gave my partner was not correct and their condition is much more severe than they "guessed" I stand by my original claims on this review. Please take your loved ones somewhere else if you truly want them to be cared for. This place seems like one step away from the Tulsa jail system. . .

This place should have been shut down a long time ago...im shocked it's still open. When I was put in there..the place was filthy, they have refused to let people shower, the staff is just ridiculous, one time we were watching t.v in the day area...and these male nurses came in and changed it to football ,sounds dumb but,tv was the only thing that was entertaining for us. But everything about that place was extremely depressing.

My girlfriend was here for 3 weeks and why? She refused to take the meds that they trying to give her.You can't just a patient from Prozac to lithium that's wrong in everyway, Besides the fact staff members they refuse to fire after sexual advances her because she was nice and doped up Donald is all I know but this place is like GITMO if you really care about your family don't let them go here!
