Took my synth in and they gave me a promise time of 2 weeks. After a month and a half of trying to communicate with them wondering why no one has taken a look at it, they said something along the lines of "Yeah, we diagnosed the synth seeing we are having an issue with X." X being the damn reason I brought it in in the first place. They said they were going to send it to a guy in California for a month or more to repair for an extra $200. Found the guy they were going to send it to, he only charges $150 and a promise time of 2 weeks. Went in to get my still broken synth back and they had the audacity to charge me still. Missed some important opportunities because of them. I hope someone... anyone reads this and decides to go elsewhere. Don't let this happen to you. EDIT: Since someone replied, thought I'd update this. Didn't really address any of the issues I stated except that I signed an agreement and then made a bold claim I was in the wrong. You know, when someone is promised 2 weeks to diagnose and fix a problem, then ends up being a month and a half of me being patient/giving them space because I know they are busy, and then finally they blow the dust off my synth and call me in to tell me the voice chip I wanted them to replace doesn't seem to work. So they're sending it out to CA and upcharging me for it. So, the argument is, I signed an agreement meaning i am essentially trusting you with the future of my synth which gives you the right to do whatever you want. Well... I guess that's true. I guess I made a mistake then. I probably shouldn't have trusted you guys. And that's why I'm here on Google telling the world that I had a bad experience. The internet has given the people of the world a voice. I had a bad experience. Plain and simple. I gave my reasons behind that bad experience. I learned a lot from it. And I hope you/everyone reading this did too.

Called simply to see if this store carried any fuses and was not offered any help. I was only met with a snarky response and asked if it was big or small.

I called and spoke with Peter over the phone, I had some questions for him about my midi keyboard that is not working and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even though I wasn't giving him any business, he was very patient over the phone, and told me I could possibly fix my device on my own without his help. I will be going here for any repairs I need in the future for sure

They repaired my Yamaha synth under warranty quicker than I expected. A little confusion as to what the problem was - the guy who wrote it up when I brought it in wasn't a "keyboard guy" - but they got it right anyway. The guy who gave it back to me was very knowledgeable and helpful, tho. :-)
