Meh, I came here for a family picnic yesterday. My family has been coming for probably 15 years and we usually rent the site with the two grills. The lake is beautiful and the new walking trail is great! Where this park really loses it for me is with the cleanliness. There was bottle caps, straws, trash, and litter all around our picnic site that has probably been there for years and gets worse and worse every year. I also don't know about anyone else but no dogs??? Are you kidding me? Everyone has a dog and as long as they pick up after their dog and keep it on a leash there shouldn't be a problem. Also the men who drive around emptying the trash cans every five seconds should pick up trash on the ground after people use the picnic site. The bathrooms could also use some cleanliness attention. For a park that has a brand new walking trail, simple maintenance has been overlooked. Please reconsider cleaning the park litter up and the no dogs rules, this is 2017, dogs are allowed in bars and restaurants but not in an outdoor park?

Nice park with a beautiful 3 mile walk around the lake. Kid's park could use some work, which is why it's only 4 stars.

This park is great as are almost all of the Clarkston parks. Plenty of things to do and places to occupy kids. My only complaint is that town law prohibits dogs at all parks.

Excellent board walk. Great place to relax or exercise. Fishing is allowed.
