Best kind of stop when you find a cookout as far North as Beckley.  We were trying to find a fast or casual place to eat with 4 kids as we travel and luckily pulled off of 19 and saw this.  I love Cookout but it is probably because I don't access to it very often.  Great stop for kids as they get the tray with 2 different sides.  I love the variety.  Now the food might not be better than some other fast food places but they have enough variety to make everyone happy.  Good Corn dogs, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, hush puppies, chili cheese dogs, burgers, fries, and of course ice cream.  I only wish their Spicy chicken was spicy or on par with Popeye's.  This one also had a huge dining room which is great for a travel stop. Very clean bathrooms as well.

First time trying out Cook Out. Chicken fingers were juicy and tender. Sandwiches were excellent and a huge variety of shakes. Better than most fast food that I've had to date. A great vacation find.Food: 5/5

If you've got to eat fast food,  this is the place to go! The burgers, hush puppies, onion rings, cheddar bites, and chocolate malts were excellent! It all tasted like real food,  not processed garbage. The server at the register was super friendly and helpful.  Will go back any time I'm in Beckley or North Carolina. My only complaint is they're not in Pennsylvania! Well, screw the rest of the state, just come to pittsburgh!

Normally they never mess up our order, they're friendly && their service is quick. However, the closing shift royally messed up my order today/night. First, they said they didn't have any okra, so I had to settle for different sides for my grilled chicken tray. I don't know how many nuggets are supposed to come as a side, but they gave 3 I figured there would at least be 4-5 && they tasted amazing. The other side unfortunately, a bacon wrap, was disgusting. The bacon was so burnt, && there was no sauce of any sort until the last bite. No exaggeration, it was literally the last bite, the very end of the wrap with no bacon, before I got a taste of ranch. The chicken sandwich itself tasted wonderful, actually better than the last couple times I've had it it tasted overcooked, burnt && dry before. Well, my boyfriend ordered a double burger tray with everything, except jalapenos.. they even asked to confirm that he wanted cheese && bacon on it, which he did.. && chicken quesadillas as both of his sides. Well, they didn't put a crumb of bacon on his burger..no onion.. no pickles.. no condiments Iike ketchup, mustard, mayo.. literally the only things on the burger was lettuce, tomato && cheese.. && They didn't give him ANY sides whatsoever!! We didn't realize till we were home, && they were already closed by that time. I'm extremely disappointed, but hopefully they do better next time. This is currently my favorite fast food place, so I really hope they don't start slacking && messing up like McDonald's &&/or Wendy's.

My son and I, have been working the Beckley area for several months. We have tried numerous restaurants and on the most part, have enjoyed all of them. We wanted something different and Cookout is different! The food was good and the drinks were plentiful. I was disappointed in that, the order taker, didn't ask what I wanted on my sandwich,  such as toppings. It was plain, but I ate it, without complaining.

We haven't been to a Cook Out in years. We were not disappointed! As good as we remember, maybe better. Food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Prices and portions are nice. Kids loved the peanut butter milkshakes! Ohio needs Cook Outs.

Food was good. Price was very affordable. Staff was amazing. And facility was very clean  Kid-friendliness: Large dinning area and drive-thru. No play area, but anymore not alot of places have them.

Best fast food restaurant. Not only best quality fast food you’ll get, also amazingly surprised about the price. My mother, wife, and I all ate for $22.00. That’s cheaper then any other place with equal amount of time - again, not to mention the quality!

Food and service was great!

Great lunch. Love that they play Christian music inside.
