I became acquainted with Cornerstone Bank while in the process of building my business. They came highly recommended from a friend. John Doull, the president of the bank, and Michelle Guthrie, the senior vice president, met with me in person and reviewed my business plan thoroughly. They provided me with valuable advice and they found a number of ways that my plan was actually calling for more lending money than was necessary. While this is my first experience as a business owner, my impression is that most banks would try to over-lend in an effort to obtain higher interest. This made an impression on me and I have to say, on a personal note, that I find that John and Michelle have my best interests at heart. They are honest and loyal to their customers. I chose to service my small business loan with Cornerstone Bank and it was the best decision I've made. I have personal service that I would certainly not get with a larger bank. Subsequently, it was an easy decision to transfer my personal accounts (checking and money market) to Cornerstone as well.

My Electrical Construction company has been banking with Cornerstone for 12 years. Vickie Fastnacht has been wonderful to work with in helping us with our line of credit, payroll accounts and savings accounts. When they see something that doesn't look right they personally give us a call to make sure we are protected. Cornerstone has always been fair and very helpful. It is nice to have a bank that works with us personally and really cares about our success. I would highly recommend Cornerstone to anyone starting or running a business.

As an entrepreneur, 14 years ago, I went to quite a few KC banks to find the one who I knew could help me grow. I can honestly say that Cornerstone was the only bank who read my business plan. Let's face it, anybody can ask for your business. Anyone can show you where to make a deposit. But, Cornerstone made me feel like they were a vested partner. Over the years, when I needed the advice to help navigate the recession and then to leverage the recovery the Cornerstone team was there. Unlike many banks, they don't have turnover, and that makes me feel like they must treat their people well. I highly recommend them. Great People - Steve

We moved to the Olathe area and were referred to the bank by our realtor. Our experiences have been nothing short of excellent. Michelle Guthrie and her team are excellent to work with and remind us of the way banking relationships "used to be" where they know you personally and appreciate your every visit. They provided us with both a bridge loan during our relocation and a home equity loan for improvements and both experiences have just been outstanding. Highly recommend them for all your banking needs.

We have been banking with Cornerstone since we moved here over eleven years ago. The staff is friendly and courteous. Their customer service is outstanding. Anytime we have had a question or needed help with something, we have received prompt and thorough attention.
