I strongly recommend Cornerstone Animal Hospital to anyone with exotic pets as well as cats and dogs. I very recently brought my 18 year old kitty who has a history of kidney disease to Cornerstone and I was blown away by the care and compassion. Every single staff member I encountered was attentive and kind. The receptionist was very personable and went out of her way to help me set up my appointment. The Technician paid incredible attention to detail and made the interaction as comfortable as possible for my pet. Dr. Draper spent time speaking with me about my cat's history and was very detailed about her treatment plan. She took the time to make my cat and myself feel at ease and she listened to all of my concerns very intently. The office manager was so sweet and made sure my cat's experience was relaxed and completely stress free. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Animal Hospital. Their care and compassion is invaluable.

Fantastic veterinary clinic!
Dr. Benson did a thorough exam of my hedgehog & followed up with a detailed report of everything he found. He is very knowledgeable about hedgehogs. I'm very impressed. We were referred to him for a sonogram and I'm so grateful. He easily discovered the problem and because of him my vet was able to save my hedgie. Miss Daisy Hedgehog gives them an all quills up positive review.

All of my visits to Cornerstone have been pleasant to say the least! The receptionist is super friendly and is a wonderful smiling face to see when you first walk in. On a few occassions, she even went out of her way to open the door for me when my hands were full! The techs are also super friendly and personable, making me feel like my ferrets and I are important and not just another number on a list. They even seem excited to see my ferrets whenever I bring them in and I know my ferrets enjoy seeing them as well. Last but not least, Dr Draper is a wonderful vet who really takes the time to explain things and give her 110%. I never feel rushed or as if it's too much of a bother to inform me on specific details and facts. She is super gentle and kind and probably my favorite vet in the Columbia/Lexington area. Although this office is the only place around that cares for ferrets and other exotics that I know of, they give the utmost quality of care that every pet owner deserves!

Very nice place. We did not wait very long before seeing the highly knowledgable vet, and he spent over an hour with us, inspecting our baby turtle, giving us tips on feeding, on maintaining the tank, telling us about the turtles health and what to expect as she grows... Along with many, many other topics. He followed up by sending a complete report of everything we discussed. Everthing about this place is A-1, classy! I will be bringing my dog here from now on!

I am a huge fan of this practice and its people! They have seen two of my dogs, and they've been nothing but courteous, professional, and compassionate! I took my elderly dog in for a dental, and Dr. Draper was amazing! She was very communicative about what would be going on, and what we'll need to watch for going forward. Every person I've interacted with there has been a treat. Even my dog likes a vet visit to Cornerstone!
