Well Pets is a full service veterinary clinic in Irmo, SC, with a day practice open on Mondays-Fridays by appointment and an After Hours Urgent Care on weeknights and weekends by walk-in. We understand your need for flexibility and that dogs and cats may require medical attention at unexpected times. Only reason they deserve one star is Scott, the assistant. The rest of their service is terrible. They wouldn’t even give me advice whether or not to bring my dog in when she’s puking because “they have not seen this dog before.” As if them having said “hello” to your dog before affects whether or not your dog need medical attention. It is ridiculous. I spent well over $400 there to fix an ear infection in my other dog. The only reason I spent so much was because the vet who originally looked at her ears there claimed only one was infected, when really both were. This vet only cares about one thing: MONEY. Do they actually care about your animals? NO. Only people who care about the animals are the assistants.

After moving from Aiken and having a wonderful vet I was hesitant to find a new vet in Irmo. I couldn’t be more pleased with Well Pets. I found them through google and took my four year old (anxious) GSD in for a nail trim. I usually need to sedate her and was worried about the price since it was a new visit for her and she also needed an exam. Well Pets called and was able to trim her nails without sedating her, not only saving me money but also helping my sweet girl, since it’s not good for any animals to be put down. I am so pleased with their friendliness and speed, they definitely care about pets and I will be coming back here regularly. They did an awesome job!

Long story short. Took our lab in due to being in extreme pain in the tail. Tail looked broken as it was crooked. After several hours told our dog had limber tail, given medication and sent home. Advised if symptoms persisted once medicine finished to take our dog to our primary vet or there for possible x-rays. Medicine completed did still in pain. Our dog ended having a broken tail in three different places. Will never go back even in emergency issues.

Was told to come in around the hours of 6:45 my husband and mom brought our boxer in around 7 sat until almost 9:30 in a room no help. We will stay with our vet at Corner Vet. We understand there are emergencies but, no communication here. I called myself asking what's wrong and was told their wrapping up and the vet will be in and my husband still waited  another 30 minutes. No one showed.
