Go watch the sunset!!! It was beautiful. My kids had fun finding seashells and sand dollars... And building sand castles.

My wife and I hung out in a tent for a bit and just relaxed. Great beach! We go everytime we're in town.

Half Beach, Half air show, Half fleet day. This beach is family friendly with free parking nearby for most. Quick walk to the main drag on Orange street. The sand is silky smooth and the shell fish makes the sand have a unique golden shimmer when the light hits it just right. Lots of flying and floating things zooming by. Might not be ideal for a nap. I didn't find any covered BBQ areas but they have ash disposal so I assume you could cook here.

Beautiful beach. Sand is clean and doesn't stink of urine like some other dog beaches. People pick up after their dogs and there is a place exiting and entering the park where you can hose off your fur babies and get them some fresh water. We had a blast!

Very clean beach with friendly dogs and people. Lots of space to run around and play. Parking can be tough and may require some additional walking. Adjacent Naval base boasts fighter plane and helicopter takeoffs.

Plenty of poop bags along the entry route, but none along the beach. Trash cans are way back on the sand.

Beautiful spot. Great scenery. It's fun to watch the volleyball players I think they have about 9 Nets in addition to all the interaction with the puppies and at low tide The Cliffs are pretty fantastic and it makes a nice walk
