Our goal at Cosmetology Education Center is to provide quality, affordable education for aspiring beauty professionals

Story

The Cosmetology Education Center is located right off HWY 169 down in the heart of Tulsa’s shopping district. Our campus features 9,000 square feet to accommodate up to 100 students at a time and includes 56 student salon stations, 2 spa facial rooms, a microdermabrasion room, a waxing room and a manicurist area. As a Pivot Point member school and a CHI partner school our goal is to get you ready for the business of beauty. We offer both daytime and night programs at this location! Truly committed to excellence .  Ashley Boyers conditioned my hair for a month to get it into shape for a braid perm.  Have not seen that dedication anywhere else.  I choose to come back year after year for my hair care needs. ..... Be warned my hair was ruined. It's been 8 months since Ashley destroyed my hair. Once a week for a month I came in and had my hair conditioned to get it in  to shape for a perm I color my hair and have a lot of long dark hair. ( had one  years ago) I Wanted a lose wide curl. Ashley showed me pictures of braid perms she's done. I had never seen that before.  Each week she assured me it would not be some tight frizzy undefined look. I went home with wet hair after getting it permed. And as it dried it was clear I had a terrible frizzy crimped styled hair. I went back and was beyond mad. The instructor said they could either cut off my long hair or reperm it. I came back one month later to get my hair corrected. But when I returned I had to deal with a different instructor (the original was on vacation) She said my hair would fall out if they permed it and worse Ashley now tried to changed her  description of the perm I was given and the expected results. She repeatedly lied to me I called her out on it after all they were her pictures so there was no confusion about the expected results.The damage is done I have no curl at all it's crimped the  complete opposite of what I wanted. In the end they said I could have a hair conditioning treatment for my troubles. But I needed to cut my hair off. I went home and cut off my long hair and the texture 8 months later is the same awful straw. I can straighten it but the first sign of humidity​ it's frizzy again . Neveragain. Be warned I thought I was in good hands and had instructor oversight to count on. Never again

I'm so thrilled with my time with Megan Weber, she was so knowledgeable & professional. My color and cut were perfect! I look forward to seeing more of Megan.  Definitely worth the drive to get such hands on and wonderful service. Megan has a spunky and enjoyable personality .

I had an amazing experience with my beautician Megan Weber. I had never had my hair done by anyone else other than my mother so I was a little nervous, but when I got there and we talked about each step we were going to do and the colors we were going to use. I went in with brown and blonde hair and left with dark brown and blue/purple hair and I can't wait to go back for another crazy color! If you are looking for some color she's your girl!

I've just begun going to this center and am very impressed with my beautician, Amanda Good.  She did a great job twice for me.  Also found great customer service here along with impressive appearance of the entire teaching atmosphere.  Wednesdays and Thursdays are senior days offering 20% off, which is quite a deal.
