I was visiting Rapid City, and stopped by Cost Cutters. My hair was cut exactly the way I asked, and I was happy with the customer service.. It was a good experience,my only complaint is that $18. is more than I am used to spending on a hair cut. I am glad that the reviews did not sway me  from giving them a chance.

My hair is terrible. I Didn't get even close to the color i wanted, and it took 5 freakin hours, and the lady was nice at first but got very irritable. Also costed me way over what it was worth. never going here again

Should be called costly cutters instead. I got the sides and top with highlights(since I get it done regularly and couldn't get in to my regular in time and there was only the grown out part to be done), a few hairs cut in the back (truely unnoticeable) and a quick toner while kind of washing out my hair (I had to go home to wash hair since it stank like toxic waste). I wouldn't have been so upset if she didn't charge me full price for everything. I paid $125 for that and gave her a $20 cash tip in my shock without her even saying thank you. Now two weeks later my highlights look yellow since the toner is washed out. 
One star since she tried to be nice until she gave me the bill (couldn't look me in the eyes anymore. So I felt like she knew she was ripping me off). Plus there's no option for 0 stars ;) 
Needles to say I'll never go back to costly cutters and keep waiting for appointments at Leo Thomas Salon where I pay about half of that for all head highlights & nice cut. Plus she always styles my hair and does a free eyebrow wax.
