Great place for bulk shopping. Lines can be long at times, but nothing not expected at wholesale clubs. Large selection of products. Some exclusive to Costco only. Gas is cheaper than regular gas stations. Great for family shopping or stocking up on frequently used products in your home. Best times to shop are near closing or right when the club opens. Stay away when military gets paid and certain holidays. Highly recommended though.

How can you not love Costco? Yes, it has a membership but totally worth it to me. You can even find deals like on Groupon to get 2 cards, so you can share with family, making it a better deal. They also have great finds that I sometimes have trouble finding elsewhere, like pancake syrup and even ice cream chocolate syrup that don't have high fructose corn syrup. Hard to find sadly. As for the store itself, it's clean, friendly staff, big isles, good little restaurant inside, and good parking. Nothing bad to say.

Such a large store, with so many different products. Great place for bulk purchases for decent prices! There wasn't as large as a food section as dome of the other Costco's I've been to, but they still had a huge selection. The staff here are wonderful! They are so kind and more than willing to help you out with anything you need. A clean and organized store, with wonderful staff.

23 September 2017 - Costco is awesome, but this building pretty much sucks. It's older and is overly crowded just about everywhere you go. The parking lot is crazy. The food court and exit areas need to be about double the size they currently are. Near gridlock at times. Part of the problem is that the greater Norfolk area only has two Costcos, which isn't nearly enough. They're pulling people from 1.5 hours away in NC. They need to build a store on the Outer Banks to start with. Adding another location in Chesapeake or Suffolk would make sense too. Having just two stores serving an area of almost 2 million people is ridiculous. Costco is leaving money on the table at this point. Makes no sense.

I really enjoy the concept of Costco. Their products tend to be a bit of a change from the nationwide stores that seem to be every 3 miles these days. They stand behind the products that they sell. I have been a member for over five years and have only needed to return one item. The item that was returned was due to a recall notification that Costco sent. Had used the item for over two years without any issues. They refunded my money with no questions asked. Well worth the annual membership fee.
