I saw Dr. Sally Tran at this clinic for almost a year and I was disappointed with the level of care that I received.  She may be a great doctor if you have a cold or general health question but she doesn't seem to have any interest in helping with chronic hard to find health problems.  She dismissed many issues that I was having or I had to bring them up 3 or 4 times before it became relevant. Since leaving her care I have been diagnosed with a condition that was text book diagnosis for the issues I was bringing to her.  I even asked her if it was a possibility which she ignored

Unfortunately the care and service continues to decline here at a alarming rate.  I have been here for over 15 years and had a great Dr. in Dr Christopher Jones.  Unfortunately he went on to specialize and did not take patients any longer for internal medicine.  I now have a new doctor names Dayana Dejesus and she seems really nice i really do not know her yet.  I am sure she will be good.  But i do know this.  That there is a physician assistant there names Cynthia and i wished i never saw her.  I was really sick a year ago and i called her medical assistant Ann and Ann never told Cynthia that i had a 103 fever for 4 days strep throat.  I called daily to get in and Ann never told Cynthia.  When i saw Cynthia later in the month for blood work i mentioned to her how Ann dropped the ball and how i suffered because of her ignoring my calls.. Cynthia in a rather rude voice told me that she would have not seen me anyway as she was all booked and told me next time to go to instracare.  Why have a doctor then if you are told to go to instracare and they do not save appointments each day for the sick who call in?  Well yesterday for the ninth straight day
i went to smith pharmacy to pick up my blood pressure pill and again they were not there.  My doctor was off and Cynthia was the one on call and should have been refilling my blood pressure pill and was deleberately ignoring my pharmacists faxes for 10 days because i told her that i was going to get a new doctor last year.  Bottom line is i never singed a paper releasing her and even though i am  not her patient she has the responsability to refill my doctor patients  refills when she is refilling all the other patients refills.  She said i was not her patient and ignored the faxes for 10 days while my blood pressure rose and i got bloody noses and headaches for 10 days.  But she would continue to refill the prescriptions for other patients  that were not her own while she was on call.  DO NOT GO TO CYNTHIA.  THAT IS WHY SHE IS A PA AND NOT A MD.  Her bed manners are bad and her medical knowledge is ever worse.
I called and talked to the director at the Cottonwood Internal Medicine Debbie and she told me that I was the problem, that I am very irritable and angry person with no patience and went on to back Cynthia's action of ignoring 10 faxes from my pharmacy and asked me if i am still staying with the clinic.  I told her I am with Dr Dejesus but in the mean time look for somewhere that I am treated like a patient.    If i would have had a strike or have something happen to me they would have been sued but i would not been here to enjoy the money from the suit.  So never go see Cynthia or you will be sorry, I think she will be retiring soon anyway as she looks like she is in her 70's so hopefully she will retire.  Debbie had no reason to tell me that I am a angry person.    I think Dr Dejesus is totally different than both Cynthia and Debbie and hopefully will stay that way as she is smart and very nice in bed side manners.  Maybe Cynthia and Debbie can learn something from Dr Dejesus

Good luck trying get an appointment with Cottonwood Rhumetology. My Dr. sent a refferal to them. After several blood tests and weeks waiting for them to call me for an appointment I called them. The receptionist was very rude to say the least. She said the received the refferal and blood test but I could not schedule an appointment with them. She said they would call me if and when they decided to take me as a patient. With an attitude like that I don't want to be thier patient. I deserve a heathcare care provider that actually provides care. We all do.

Dr. Monroy is an EXCELLENT provider! I have seen him several times and I am always impressed with how attentive and caring he is. I have been dealing with some particular health problems lately and he is always quick to notify me of labs, order any scans I need and make sure I am well informed of what is going on.   He really listens to and values his patients. His new medical assistant Sylvia is very nice and efficient. I would definitely recommend him as a Primary Care Physician.
