A wonderful place to stay. A clean and comfortable room. A wonderful breakfast with hot eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, cereals, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Great hospitality. A nice outdoor pool. If you have any accessibility issues, ask to stay on the first floor. We couldn’t find an elevator.

The location is great - quick access to downtown Charleston but quiet and full of easily accessible restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is very clean and seems reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast is good as well with the standard options like cereals, pastries, waffles, eggs, etc. The staff is smiling and courteous. The rooms, however (at least ours) could use some work. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall, there were no sheets for the sofa bed, the ac kept only one room truly cooled, and the beds weren't very comfortable. I do realize bed comfort is subjective so maybe lumpy soft mattresses are desired by some. Overall I am pleased with the accommodations based on price and location. It appears some of the hotel is being renovated here and there too, so some improvements are likely coming.

This hotel is in a good location right off the interstate. The room is a comfortable size. The staff has been very nice, especially on this, our second evening. We were allowed an early check in, after giving a face and staying at the check in counter, after being told they did not know of the rooms that had been cleaned up to that time. The clerk was friendly but I don't believe she wanted to help us be able to check in, but did because we didn't just take "no" for an answer. We were heading to downtown Charleston and did not want a car full of luggage in plain sight. This morning we left our room at 11:30, 30 minutes before check out time, and when we returned at 7, it had not been cleaned. Now we have full garbage cans and more garbage. Toilet seat is barely on the toilet and it slips when being used.

If I could make this review worse I would! Horrible experience. When we first got here the room was NASTY check out the bathroom! Everything was broken.. the shower rod, the bedroom phone, the bedroom curtain, you name it. We came here because the A/C Broke in our home and had been for days. This hotel was convenient. My Daughter has now gotten sick due to the weather conditions in our home so this was the last thing we needed. We were told the first night that there were no rooms we could move to that there was a room without A/C and he couldn't even move them. He told us he could move us the next morning. Well the next morning comes I'm walking to get my daughter breakfast at 8:30am and a house lady walks by and asks if I need anything. I told her no we are getting moved but thank you. At 10:30 we are told by someone else that there are no rooms available but they can have everything fixed and everything cleaned. We accepted due to the situation. I then took my sick child out for 4 hours and came back and NOTHING....NOTHING had been done. Of course I'm infuriated at this point. I call down and busy, well I call from my phone no answer, I call directly from the room phone and get picked up and hung up on!? I call back. She answers not pleasant. I told her who I was and that I was not happy. I began to tell her the situation and once I got out of my mouth that we were told last night that we would be moved this morning she cut me slam off and said "no ma'am I was given strict instructions not to move y'all and your husband knows all about it!" WHOA! I told her before she rudely cut me off that I was trying to explain. She said my husband spoke with the GM and was informed we would not be moved. I then told her she was going to not make this end well by the way she is acting. I then explained what we had been told. She proceeds to tell me "well the GM has the authority to override our decisions and that's what she did." I could feel the blood BOILING! She tells me she can get maintenance up to fix things!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? What happened 4 hours prior!? She said she could give me the GM's # and of course she didn't answer, go figure! My husband called corporate and they call the hotel while putting him on hold. They proceed to go back and forth pretty much fighting him on what the girl on the other end said like a 5 year old! They tell him that we REFUSED housekeeping that's why the room was not cleaned and maintenance came. The pictures are when I returned. Needless to say this place is Horrific, worst customer service we have ever experienced. Do not stay here! I hate Hilton was full because that is where I will always be and where I have always been. They would have had us at another property if they had to!

The staff was amazingly helpful! FREE COOKIES!! I also wish EVERY hotel offered such an AMAZING variety of breakfast options! We've stayed in many hotels on our travels and this is THE BEST SO FAR!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
