The room we had seemed clean,but there was several hairs in the bathroom and there was a stain on the sheet that looked like make up. We both work in hotels as desk clerks so we try not to complain too much. The room was sort of run down,the desk clerk that checked us in said they were slowly starting renovations. My husband used points to book the room and in my opinion and his it was not worth 28,000 points. The desk clerk did not ask us how our stay was so that's why we didn't voice any of these issues. Also there were no garbage bags in the trash cans.

Breakfast was great, simple hot selections and typical cereal, muffins, bread, etc. That's the important bits for me, room is a room you're never in it, just needs to have a comfortable bed which they did!

We stayed here once before and were happy with our stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, this past weekend was a completely different story. My husband and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to biloxi. So I called Friday night right before midnight to see if they had any rooms available and get a price. We were told $87 per night & that they had plenty of king rooms available. The lady even told us not to make a reservation because their system would charge us a no show fee if we made the reservation since we would be arriving around 4 AM. However, upon arrival (about 4:30 am) we waited around at the front desk for about 5 minutes before my husband went looking and found an employee to help us. We were then told a different price (almost double what we were told over the phone, much more than the prices listed on their website) & that there were no king rooms available. We were okay with a different room, but not the price. When I asked why the price was different from what I was told over the phone, the lady tells me that whoever I spoke with didn't know what they were talking about and that if I didn't like that price "there are other hotels you can stay at" 😳🤔 she was absolutely right. We will never be staying in a Country Inn or any Carlson for that matter. TERRIBLE customer service. 
Fortunately we went just down the street to a Hampton Inn and had a wonderful stay. Their staff was exceptionally friendly. They even felt bad that the other hotel had been so rude to us and gave us our first night free. So, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn just down the street. Super clean and friendly with a FANTASTIC free breakfast.

When we got there, they had given our room to a guest with the same name and had no rooms available due to it being a holiday weekend. 
So I thought we may have an issue but they called the manager, Carrie, and she had one room left that someone had left and changed rooms so she (at 11pm), re-cleaned the room and made sure it was all ready for us. 
We stayed three days and every day she made sure our stay was going well. She and the staff were wonderful. 
Our maid was wonderful too, making sure we had fresh towels and coffee even though we didn't want maid service, she checked with us all three days. 
I would stay here again if I am ever back in town. 
The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, fresh coffee was ready all the time and cookies in the evening.

Just stayed at this hotel last night.  We chose this hotel due to the mostly positive reviews.  Let me start by telling you the positive, great breakfast!  That's about all that's great though.  Room was musty and damp feeling.  We had earwigs in the bathroom.  The staff was hit or miss, some friendly and others looked like they were miserable.  Overall the room felt unclean and we would not stay at this hotel again if we visit the area.
