Due to my busy schedule, I didn't get to spend a lot of time in my hotel room. However, for the time I was there, my room was very cozy and I got a great night's sleep. I liked the bed and the excess of electrical outlets that let me charge all of my devices simultaneously. Throughout my stay the front desk staff was welcoming and courteous. The fact that the hotel was located so close to Yale's campus meant I could get to and from Yale with ease. And, Union Station was only about 10 minutes by cab. Overall, it was a short, but good stay at Courtyard by Marriott New Haven.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. Unfortunately, the hotel apparently had a leak and I couldn't check into a king room as I reserved but they offered breakfast and coffee with a queen room to compensate. The front desk was friendly and stored my luggage

We stayed here as part of a wedding. The room was pretty good. The lobby bar was really expensive for the area. My friend got some stale beer. Parking was a challenge, we arrived on Saturday and couldn't find a spot. We had to scramble to find something so we didn't have to leave our car on the street.

I came here for a wedding and while the front staff was courteous, they did not seem to know when or which chartered bus would take us to the venue (there were three weddings that booked the hotel). The room was adequate with a somewhat smallish TV and a sink that leaked a little. Parking was $20, which seemed to me to be on the high side given the location.

They recently renovated and the hotel is beautiful. Staff were very courteous and attentive. highly recommended if you need a comfortable place to stay in downtown new Haven
