Fantastic spaces, very cool design, and the service from entering the door to checking out was impeccable. I really admired the use of wood in the rooms. It looked like plywood but was done up very classy. The price was also unbeatable. We will definitely make our way back to NYLO at some point!

We stayed here for a couple of days during our vacation, the front desk staff wasn't helpful or accommodating.  I called to see if we could have an early check in and was told flat out No!  Okay, fine, no big deal, they could have been nice about it but no.  Our friends were checking in that night and the system was down when they arrived.  The hotel held their luggage while we went out for dinner but did not bother to keep them updated on the status of their room.  We arrived a little after 1130pm and they finally gave them a room.  The room was not what they had reserved.  The rooms are are ready small and they ended up with an even smaller room.  Through out their 5 day stay they were never moved to the Standard King room they had reserved.  All the hotel staff compensated them with was free drink vouchers.  I wouldn't stay here again.

My wife and I stayed overnight before heading out on our honeymoon. Vivek went above and beyond. He upgraded our room, sent us a bottle of wine, and gave us a late check-out on the house. The view was gorgeous and the restaurant downstairs had excellent Italian food. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get a good night's rest before another day of travel. We will absolutely stay here the next time we're in town. It's close to the natural history museum too.

Good hotel at a great price. Located next to Central Park and in a quieter part of NYC, Nylo is only 6 minutes walking from the subway. Room size is a bit bigger than average for NYC with a giant, comfortable king bed. The room is fairly clean, although some of the higher bathroom shelves have a light layer of dust on them. The room comes with all the basic amenities except a fridge. I had to ask the front desk if they could hold my cheesecake until I left. They said no and brought me a fridge instead. If something isn't right, just let them know and they will fix it for you. For that, they get 5 stars.

Great experience overall. My only complaint was that we had to all for extra towels twice before we actually got them, and also three times before we got the blankets and sheets to set up the hide a bed. Other than that, the service was great, staff was friendly and helpful to a tourist family.
