While the food was what you typically get, the problem with this store was the process of being seated. Never in my life have I seen such a mess! They took our names upon entering the store and we were told about 15 minutes. In about that time, they called our name along with 4 or 5 other parties. Once we reached the podium entering the restaurant, it was madness! We stood there for about 10 more minutes while waiting to be seated. They continued to call parties to the podium, but were not seating us! There were at least 35 people waiting to enter the restaurant because we had all been called, but we just stood there which created a huge bottleneck for entering and exiting the restaurant! Once something was said to the host, she replied something about getting in trouble if they didn't do it that way. It was absolutely ridiculous!!! Another thing I noticed was the speed of the busboys. They were very lackadaisical about their purpose there in the restaurant all the while people are waiting for them to do their job so that they can be seated!!! Much help needed in these areas! Once we were seated, everything went as all other Cracker Barrels seem to. Good food and good service from the server.

Good food, excellent service. The wait staff is always busy but very efficient. They do not forget anything if you ask for it. Also, I love the store. They have things you won't find elsewhere, clothing in particular (sorry men, not much for you!). Old fashioned, reproduction toys and candy...oh my!

Not impressed. Waiter got the wrong order. Wait staff brought out the wrong food. Staff told me that they had the order correct and it took leadership to fix it. Steak and biscuits badly burned. Long wait for food despite nobody in the restruant. Would not recommend to others.

Love this restaurant. Any of these have great atmosphere. The country cooking is heavenly. Usually very centeraly located.

It was very good. I had the new sandwich called the Ruben. It was the best that I have ever had at the Trussville, Alabama restaurant. Great place to eat. I have never been disappointed.
