I have never had a bad meal or experience at any Cracker Barrel I've visited and this location is no exception. The people there are friendly. The food is well prepared. The meal prices are extremely reasonable. Even though the place is usually very crowded, the staff really does a fine job of getting you seated in a timely fashion. The store portion always has many interesting things to look at to keep you occupied while you wait for a table. It really is like stepping back in time to visit an old country store.

If you find yourself in a similar situation... keep driving. We are tourists and chose this restaurant after looking at their menu. So far, our meals while traveling have consisted of fast food so we needed some "real food". We are travelling with a 1 1/2 year old and after viewing their menu (with lots of veggies and home style meals) we thought it would be a great choice. Here's how our visit went: We waited for well over 20 minutes without anyone checking on us when we were seated (meanwhile a waitress walked by us at least a half dozen times as we tried to keep our daughter happy), we went to ask if someone was going to come see us at the front and an additional 10+ minutes went by with no service. By then I asked for the manager. When the manager came, I tried to explain what kind of service we had received so far and he cut me off to apologize and offered to take our order. He took our order which came back with a mistake (we were told to keep it and it was replaced quickly). By then however, our toddler was tired and had eaten snacks from the diaper bag (in an attempt to keep her from crying and screaming) so she wasn't very interested in her meal. We quickly tried to eat our meal and were eager to leave. In the end, they didn't offer any sort of discount for our meals or the lack of adequate service. Worth noting, the food wasn't good quality or fresh so even if the service was great I doubt we would have returned.

Great Sunday Dinner! Friends told us to go for the Sunday fried chicken dinner. They would not stop talking about it so we went. And it was worth it! Its a huge serving of 2 boneless breasts fried with 2 fixins of your choice. I got cole slaw & fries my husband ordered green beans & mashed potatoes with gravy on the side. He ate everything but thought the gravy was too peppery. I took home a whole breast & half of the fries. Its worth it GO have Sunday dinner at Cracker Barrel! Our server was Sonya & she was perfect, there wasn't anything she could have done better & was a very sweet woman.

Their home style fried chicken special was delicious. Enjoyed their mashed potatoes and their new brussel sprout and kale salad. Corn muffins were on the dry side and unsweetened. Service was awesome!

As usually, the food and service was great. I have noticed over the last several months the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. I doubt there was more than a tablespoon of mashed potatoes on my plate. I know it was 2 forkfuls.
