The food was really good, hot and fresh. Good service. Probably one of the best cracker barrels I've been to.

I have been a frequent customer at the Newnan location for many years. My last two visits, today and about a week ago were horrible. It's like there had been a change in either philosophy or Management. The food is still good but service has gotten terrible. Today, when we arrived at about 1pm it was relatively quiet for a Sunday. We were placed on the list and were seated in the stated 20 minutes, as they predicted. Then we waited 25 minutes to be approached by a waiter. We were not acknowledged in any way by any one serving tables. He finally came to the table and I asked if this location had experienced a management chants. He said no but he had bee helping out another server and that was why service was so slow. I told him that it was Managements fault when service is poor. It's not up to him to cover for other servers. He stated that he would notify the Manager and the Manager would come over and talk to me. The food was served slow but it did arrive , I ordered fried eggs and he must have written well done fried eggs, according to the bill. In addition we ordered a Coke and a coffee, but the bill showed one water only, This appeared to be a mistake and not any sort of compensation for the service). The manager did not came to our table or approach us in any way. I will not be quick to return to my home town Cracker Barrel location ! The servers turnover at this location seems to reflect the poor service.
