Really cool museum to take young kids. There are a bunch of interactive exhibits for kids to learn about science. They have some dinosaurs (T-Rex), Mammoths and Mastodons, etc. The rock collection is insanely big. Lots of gold, silver, copper, etc found in Michigan. They have an exhibit on Roman times that is really cool with some tabletop games for kids in how to operate a catapult. Overall, it was a great place to visit.

Fun place to bring family, the observatory was pretty cool, even though it was too cloudy to see the moon. The employee working the observatory was super friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative thing that I can say is that the exhibits that they have down stairs, shouldn't cost extra on top of the admission price, $8 for an adult on top of admission seems to be a little steep. We will be back and go into the planetarium the next time.

Great place to start from if you are interested in doing some easy hiking. We walked 6 miles according to the app we were using. Cranbrook schools have been there my decade here in Oakland County, MI. I never knew the hike around the grounds was so amazing and filled with so many hidden treasures such as the Greek ceremonial areas and the ponds near the Cathedral. There are grecian sculptures dating a century back redone to represent many biblical stories. The hike was great with few inclines for those who like an easier pace and hike but there are also places to get some extra walking and exercise in as well.

A lovely place for an outing. They have a variety of exhibits ranging from their extensive rocks and minerals collection to the natural selection exhibit to the steam chamber. There are planetarium shows throughout the week that are enjoyable and informative. I'd definitely recommend coming on the Friday nights when the observatory is open and running, as it's definitely a treat. The travelling exhibition at the moment is Chocolate, although I haven't been able to visit it yet. They also have a reflections cafe with pretty quality food. Good place to bring children, a friend, a date, or just yourself.

They love you visiting. There's plenty to do experiencing the different departments that they have. Dinosaurs, bats and more fun playing the different games.
