The problem with the reviews on here is that some of them are about the wrong store. There is a Crazy Critters Dog Training in the mall but the are not a pet store. Crazy Critters pet store is out towards Rapid Valley on HWY 44. The pet store in the mall is Pitter Patter which is clearly the location some of these reviews are about as they are posting about a pet store in the mall. I have been to this place multiple times recently and I can tell you from a personal experience that this place and the owners are very caring and knowledgeable individuals. The place is very clean and the pets are very happy and well taken care of. The puppies are out and people are allowed to pet and interact with them and they absolutely love every minute of it. I think this place is fantastic and a prime example of a place that is very particular of where they get their puppies. These are clearly very happy animals and absolutely love the interaction they get with humans and other dogs. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a dog/companion or if you have a dog that isn't behaving well and in need of some training which they offer as well. Both Sasha and Linda seem extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. 5 Stars!

Very clean place, a nice large open space with different areas for different kinds of dog training. I think the other reviews mentioned a bad odor but I don't think it is a review for the right place. This place has no odor, was very clean and I would happily bring my dog in. The staff is helpful and very friendly. I am kind of confused by the reviews saying they are selling puppies in there because it is a dog training center, not a pet store... I didn't see any animals in there for sale. There were 2 fish tanks I think in there that were nice and clean, and not for sale. So maybe the other reviews are talking about the actual pet store in this mall? Which is kind of awful because this place is really nice and they are not selling puppy mill dogs, or any dogs that I could see at all. They deserve a far better rating on here.

Please, for the love of God, DO NOT BUY PUPPIES from a pet store. They are ALL from puppy mills no matter what the store says or what "USDA regulated breeders" they supposedly come from. A good breeder would never, I repeat never, let their puppies be sold in a pet store. I have worked several Puppy Mill rescues from "breeders" that were USDA regulated and and if you could see the horrors these dogs live in, you would never consider buying one from a pet store. Google search puppy mill images and see for yourself what "USDA regulated " breeders really look like.

Reviews done by animal activist that haven't done business with Crazy Critters so use commonsense and don't believe everything you read without verifying for yourself. THANKS P.S. There are at least 2 reviews listed here that are NOT about Crazy Critters! There is another pet business in the mall called Pitter Patter that currently sells ferrets, fish, balls and "smells bad" but it is NOT us! We have not sold snakes, fish or ferrets for more then 3 years and NEVER at our Rushmore Mall location. If you are going to leave negative reviews please make sure you are posting to the correct business.

The pups didn't have food or water, the birds needed a very deep cage cleaning, the fish had green water and you could still see dead and live fish in it. The reptiles do not have proper terrariums, the rats/mice/ other rodents are not in very good conditions... I wish I could give a lower rating.. The place smells really bad and needs to be shut down.... I've been in there several times to see the conditions and every time nothing changes. I am extremely disappointed..
