Poorly managed store. Charged incorrectly due to misplaced products. They had no carts so I gave mine to an elderly woman so she didn't have to haul her dog food on her back. The store "manager" gave me grief when I asked for a refund or for them to honor the price posted. Then the girl at the register needed assistance 5 times!!! The girl in the grooming department that had pink hair came inside from a smoke break haking up a lung and stinking. I will not be returning to this store ever.

A great petstore.  I went to the few in Spearfish (blah/gross), and the other's in Rapid (PetSmart).  Petco is bigger, cleaner, and has a better selection.  Hard to find pet items are available here.  Other items are a bit expensive and can be had for less on Amazon, but when you need it now, or need a new pet, PetCo is the place to go.

Took my Great Dane to be groomed here a handful of times and each time the price increased more and more; even with coupons and “sometimes allowing” military discount, sometimes not. He is high energy and can be intimidating as he’s a big dog but being they’re “professionals” I figured they’d get him but it always seemed like they’d do rock, paper, scissors to groom him. He also seemed full of anxiety the more I took him. Between the inconsistent prices with no explanation or added services and the “oh it’s that dog” response; I can’t say I was impressed or would return.

We stopped to get some things for our hedgehog while we were in town. I was looking for a particular product and didn't see it. I asked a sales associate if he could help me find it and he responded that he has never seen it come into the store so they didn't have it.  I went back a different time because I had been planning on buying a new fish for our house so I decided to look again, this time having looked up what section the product is usually in and I found it.  Guess it goes to show a sales associate might not know every single product that comes into the store.

I get all of my dog food here. I like this place because of the selection. The prices are a little high though. I mean you can buy some of this stuff on Amazon and it's way cheaper. This place can be a little slow sometimes too.

The Treat Bar makes up for these flaws though. It's pretty cool.
