My 15 year old cat was diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure about a month ago. She was still in good spirits (eating, drinking, purring, rubbing ect.) so I decided to give her sub-q fluids daily and take her into Creek Crossing Animal clinic weekly for check-ups and B12 shots. After talking to friends who had gone through this in the past and educating myself on this horrible disease, I learned pain medicine is a very common recommendation. I asked the vets at creek crossing and they prescribed my cat Buprenex for about 5 days. I then made an appointment to have her at-home euthanized by "At Home Pet Euthanasia" tomorrow so she wouldn't suffer. However, when I called to get two more doses (given every 8-12 hours) so she wouldn't be in pain the last day of her life, they refused unless I would drive her to the vet and had her seen. If you know anything about cats, a vet visit is an incredibly stressful event for them and I refuse to put her through that. I feel it is so cruel to make her withdrawal from these pain meds (that are 30 times stronger than morphine) and suffer in her last moments when she has a very reasonable opportunity not to. It is OBVIOUS this establishment exploits pets for financial gain. They do not have good intentions (or even the heart) the ethically care for animals. I beg you not to support Creek Crossing Animal Clinic or their sister Clinic, "Town East- Galloway Animal Clinic". If you live in the mesquite Area I would recommend "South Mesquite Veterinarian Hospital".

Thank you Dr. LaRue! With the attentiveness and patients that you and your staff have, my baby is doing better. I would highly recommend this office to anyone and their furbabies.
