I've been there for my sister's rescue kitten and for my new puppy. The vets are great! The staff is as well. They don't mind answering a y random questions I've had about both pets. They are friendly with the pets take as much care of them as possible. Great place to take your fur babies!

Horribly rude staff and Veterinarian. He tried to push me into a $750 + surgery which was deemed unnecessary when I got a second opinion. My pup is doing much better under different clinics care.

We moved to Mesquite last summer. I needed to find a new vet for our animals. After reading the good reviews I decided on South Mesquite Veterinary Hospital because everyone seemed to have good experiences here. Mine was not any different. Everyone was very nice and the wait wasn't long at all! I was used to spending at least an hour at my old vet's office in Dallas. This is a very good new vet for animals. :)

I have been using the vet since 2000. He was the only doctor in his office when it opened, not just a receptionist there. My dog was very ill and needed attention. He was very caring and explained everything. And the rest of my crew (all 7 animals) have been going there. He has another doctor that comes on Wednesday and she is just as wonderful. Thanks for all the time that has been given to my babies (pets).

Dr Pirrung and his associates are awesome! Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Best care and genuine concern for my pets' well-being!
