Since starting out at CrossFit Headway, I've lost weight, toned muscles and have completed various exercises and skills that I was not even capable of attempting in the past. I'm stronger and more fit than I have ever been and have seen more results from this method of working out than anything I've ever tried in the past. I went from a size 10 to a size 4 and I'm feeling better than ever. The classes are quick, efficient and always changing. You'll never get bored and will always be challenged. CrossFit Headway's spacious facility is packed with brand new, high quality equipment and utilizes technology to track you workout results and progress. Owners Alex and Teresa makethe gym feel like a community where everyone is welcomeand encouraged to do their best. They make CrossFit fun and add a social aspect to it by hosting events and participating in local competitions. I highly recommend CrossFit Headway to everyone!

My dear future crossfit athletes, please stay away from Crossfit Headway. This is not an establishment that you would want to be part of. I went to this facility for 2 years, and in the beginning, everything was fine and I was happy with them, and even brought my younger daughter, who was 16 years old at the time. But in my second year, every month was worse than the last. You have to understand that I am 46 years old, and attending this facility was more like my own challenge, instead of trying to be an advanced athlete. But, even at my level, I was treated like I was not even a member of the gym by the coaches and eventually as though I was not even in the gym in their eyes. Instead of coaching every one in the class, the coaches just concentrated their attention to their own training and training their friends. I did not want to bring this up and I just want quietly leave with my daughter who had the same issue as I did. I wrote a polite email stating that my daughter and I will be leaving Crossfit Headway, and in response, Crossfit Headway said that apparently I had a contract that I cannot breach. And this was news to me, because first of all, the contract was never given to me or to my daughter in any fashion. Well to make long story short, we left Crossfit Headway and we went to different gym. Today, November 2, 2015 I received a letter from a collection agency threatening to sue me and my daughter for $400 and this is makes me very mad. First of all, there are several athletes that left Headway before their contract had expired and no further actions by Headway were taken toward them. I asked myself a question - is it discrimination or humiliation towards my family? Is their mission to force me pay $400 by threatening to destroy my daughter's credit history now that she turns 18? Well I am sure that this story will continue because I will fight this. Meanwhile, if nobody wants to be in the same situation as I am then please find different box and do Crossfit because it is fun. And also there numerous Crossfit boxes in the area that less expensive and have no contracts and coaches that actually do their job.

In the last 10 years I have had multiple memberships to local gyms, I have tried yoga, kickboxing, and spinning, and I have never stuck to anything until I found Crossfit Headway. I love going there because of the trainers, the workouts, and the people. The coaches are phenomenal and do everything in their power to help you improve. In the last year that I have been going, I lost one dress size and I am doing things that I never thought I am capable of. If you are looking to lose weight, gain strength, and have a remarkable support team, I highly highly highly recommend Crossfit Headway.

After trying a few gyms and feeling overwhelmed by some and bored with others, I decided to join Crossfit Headway because of the welcoming environment. While challenging, the instructors are not intimidating. Other members are supportive and the work is rewarding. I have made great progress while having fun, learning about myself, making friends and getting into better shape. I highly recommend Crossfit Headway and would welcome more members to challenge, improve and have fun!

CFH was my first real step into the world of CrossFit. After some bad experiences at other gyms, I wasn't totally sold on CrossFit until I was taken under coach A and T's wing, and joined the Headway Team. I have a passion for weightlifting, and was able to reach some seriously new heights just after a few months of training. Alex has outstanding knowledge of movement, and can help just about anyone get better if they're willing to put in the time. People from all walks of life have called CFH home. If there's any doubt in your mind that you "can't do CrossFit", you will be pleasantly surprised after those first few sessions with Alex and Teresa. Although you will be challenged and pushed to your limit more often than not, it will always been done in a safe, structured, and functional way, with purpose. In addition to CrossFit workouts, we all follow well-thought out strength cycles, are given plenty of opportunity to hone gymnastics skills and bodyweight strength, and are taught the basic principles of recovery, rest, and nutrition. Come train with us! CFH is not all business either, we love our fun too! Coming to train is always the highlight of my day, and many of my teammates and coaches have become some of my best friends. CFH is my "safe zone" - it's a place where I can go and escape the stress of everyday life for a few hours, no matter what. I'd surely be lost without it.
