From the moment we walked in the hotel, the staff was amazing. Front desk and the servers at the hotel breakfast were extra-ordinary and made us feel like valued guests and family. The beds in the hotel had some of the best mattresses we've slept on in ages = great sleep! Our room was very clean and updated. The hot breakfast was excellent every morning of our stay and saved us money each day. The only downside to this hotel was that they didn't seem to have enough parking spaces when hosting an event or group.

This is a nice hotel. Very accommodating staff. Lots of shopping & dining places within walking distance.

Lovely hotel. Gracious front desk service, and the rooms are immaculate. I booked this hotel because I saw pictures and advertisement of a pool and hot tub. When I checked into my room, I consulted the amenities binder on my desk. Inside was a layout of the hotel, complete with advertised pool and hot tub. When I headed there with my husband and daughter we discovered there is neither a pool nor a hot tub. Bed time came around and the music (from somewhere nearby) reverberated in the walls so badly I couldn't sleep. This had made a very stressful trip even worse. However, I spoke with David at the front desk the next morning. He happily moved us to another room, far, far away from the festivities of the previous night. We ended up purchasing another night.

This hotel has an upscale feel, but service is only 3-star. Bar was understaffed, subsequently inattentive during peak times. Breakfast is defaulted to the buffet, which is nice, but heavy on gluten foods. Ordering from the menu seemed to be an inconvenience. The room was roomy and clean, but was set inconsistently. I ordered 2 $4. (20 oz) bottles of Dasani water before realizing I'd been left 2 complimentary that day. I had not over the last 2 days. Lunch buffet for conferences had been good, but gluten-free options are very limited and what they do offer in the restaurant is pricey compared to the rest of the menu. I'm still confused about the amenities. I found online one site claiming they have a pool, another with no mention. I called ahead to check and was told they do not have a pool, but the book in the room had a hotel directory map clearly shows a pool. Again, upscale facade, mid-level details.

Recent renovations with good ammeneties. Close to Dulles airport with a free shuttle service. Restaurant food is good and breakfast has been recently improved with more options. Gym renovation also just finished. Great place to stay for business and groups.
