Had lunch here and it was wonderful. The staff is very attentive, and the food was wonderful! Definitely a great place if you're craving burgers, sandwiches, and/or amazing seasoned fries! Now, excuse me while I enter my food coma.

You must always honor what you advertise. One of the most amazing things Cruisers did was the Groupon advertisement that offered a $16 certificate for $8.00. Myself and many of my coworkers enjoy this certificate from time to time as we have always enjoyed splitting a Marinated Chicken Chunk Quesadilla and "The Big Salad". Upon using and purchasing this certificate, I placed my to-go order. I was advised by the girl cashing me out that they no longer accepted the voucher for To-Go orders. She tried to enforce this, but the fact of the matter is that it is not part of the ad. She added that her boss was aware of the mistake, but since he posted a newer ad in the Mint Magazine advising of the To Go only clause, they were to stick with it. The check out girl honored my certificate because I was persistent, but they will likely try this on another purchaser. Note: Either my chicken was not marinated, or it was not marinated long, as it tasted like overcooked chicken. The fried mushrooms were perfect, though.

I loved my turkey burger and got a huge salad with chicken chunks to go. Cruisers fries with ranch dressing is always a treat. I can't ever finish a small order by myself. The wait staff was nice and moved as fast as possible during the lunch rush.

Not as good as the one at the beach, but decent. At least this isn't the location that was accused of spitting in cop's food. I've also waited a super long time for anyone to speak to us anytime I've been there. I feel like it has declined pretty rapidly pretty recently. Not sure if they've had a change in management or something.

Another horrible experience that will be my last at this chain and could have resulted in my last meal on the planet. THERE WAS A HALF-INCH FLATHEAD SCREW IN MY PLASTIC CONTAINER OF SALSA this evening that I watched pour out onto the soft tacos and realized what it was as the knife hit the metal. I told the server and said I did not want another dish, I just wanted to leave and not be charged. There is simply no excuse on Earth for this. There are currently cards on all the tables that say "under new management by Jimmy". It essentially lets you know that when you have a problem (a clue you probably will), Jimmy will take care of it. I spent 5 years in restaurant franchise ownership and worked many years in restaurants prior to that and you can rest easy that the words "under new management" mean there have been ongoing problems and very likely many complaints under terrible incompetence and mismanagement. Tonight's experience proved "under new management" means absolutely nothing. The service is frankly terrible in this restaurant and has been every visit the last couple of years. I could not get waited on, I could not get noticed, the waitress would not check back, I had to ask the hostess for help. The food is average at best and in any other major city this place would not last 6 months. It takes far too long for the food to arrive and there's an overall palpable feeling that there are problems here and the restaurant is on its way out. I walked in a few weeks ago and was told by the hostess that they were short staffed and could not seat me. I was alone and it was a Friday night about 8pm. I used to frequent this place going back to 2009 but have tapered my visits a great deal due to horrible service on recent visits and food that is just not as good as it was. I will not give Cruisers another dime.
