Great country atmosphere. We had a rough start coming in after a tour bus. It felt as if our business was not wanted. Shortly after being seated, the service settled in and we had a nice meal. Upon trying to leave, we were left waiting quite awhile for our check. Might have been our timing, but the service was lacking. Would suggest a try if you enjoy a place with history and country atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was great. Staff was fun and friendly. It is worth a trip. Also has a wildlife exhibit. They sometimes have a live blues guy playing the piano. Fried pickles and green tomatoes were awesome.

The yearling is a local dining experience that provides you with an eclectic environment and live music, delicious food and mostly caught locally. 

Depending on the time of day you go there will be a mild wait so it’s best to put in a reservation. Parking is limited, customer service is friendly and most of the time quick and accurate to the order.

Atmosphere was amazing, there was a live blues singer who not only sang but interacted with the crowd. It was a wonderful experience. I was a little disappointed that we came for frog legs (which they were out of) and copter (which wasn't even listed on the menu anymore). But we had fried green tomatoes, gator, deer and quail, all very delicious and a wonderful experience trying.

One of a kind old Florida restaurant. Love the decor and atmosphere. Great service at the bar. Food we ordered at the bar not so good ,conch fritter once and crab cakes a couple months later. Rated this restaurant a 4 because of it's incredible  charm along with its vanishing history. Love it......
