Beautiful place overall, however fisherman the water quality was kind if bad due to green algea so visibility for the fish to find the food was low. However I did still manage to pull some nice Rainbow trout out and Released. I would like to see Water management look into this issue asap. Also Take your umbrella for extra needed shade and your set. Good luck

A fun place to go when you're looking for something to do. This regional park has two fishing lakes. Depending on the season they stock the lakes with either catfish or trout. I've been fishing here and have had some luck catching fish. They also have paddle boats that you can rent and ride on the lake. This park also has a water play area for the kids as well as a lagoon style pool with a water slide. The pool and slide aren't free there is a charge but the water play area is free. There is a charge for fishing also as well as parking. You might want to call ahead to find out the prices .

My kids love coming to the swimming pool area, you can bring your own food and chairs. They have a lot of trees with plenty of shade. We came Sunday and parking was 10$ and entrance 7$ for kids and adults. They also have life guards on sight, overall it's a nice place to come with the family. I recommend it.

Small lake to fish at and ride on paddle boats, then for the summer there is a small water slide and swim area, nice shade trees . Lots of playground area .and restrooms .swim area is only open for a short time

I don't get it. Why in the world is the pool and slides closed 4 days a week during summer. That's when it is NEEDED by local kids the most. It's 105 degrees today with the city charging drought penalties for "excessive" water use (like playing with the hose). This needs to be FIXED. The public is not being well served by this facility. Some of us can't make the days they have chosen - we have to work on weekends - it would be less crowed and more enjoyable if they were open at least one more day a week at least. Crazy.
