Huck Finn Jubilee

If you love bluegrass this is not the place to be. They had some good groups but set times were short and they did not schedule them as main events. They bought the name but that is the only thing that is the same. Minus one star if that was a choice.

I couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of people. Love, love the bluegrass! Very much all about family. Listen to music, dance, games for kids, workshops, etc, etc. Look forward to this every year and wouldn't miss it. I have NEVER had a staff member even appear to be rude. This is a great time for all!!!

I agree with Barbie Roelle. This year was an incredibly bad experience and the first one I had invited my father to attend. I can't believe that Ontario took it over and rather than taking the intelligent route of easing changes to an already skeptical fan base, they dump drug addicts and a loud jam band on a traditional bluegrass festival. It is truly astonishingly bad decision making. Then they top that off by deleting and blocking any negative posts from the Huck Finn Jubilee Facebook page. Of course, this is actually illegal since a public entity took it over. I'm a father and my family was subjected to tons of drug use, police helicopters, and loud insanity all night long while camping.

We have been attending this Huck Finn Jubilee for several years. It is a SHAME they moved this out of the Mojave Narrows Regional Park. We attended last year, the first year of the move to Guasti Park down in Ontario; and unless they have changed and/or immensly IMPROVED the camping area at Guasti, DON'T GO!!!! It was HORRIBLE!!! The RV camping was covered in stickers like CRAZY!!!! You had to "walk a mile" to get to the entrance or literally mountain climb through the "aqueduct" to get into the show area. Like I say, such a shame. We will NOT be attending this year.

Too small of an area for the crowd and tix prices have gone through the roof compared to 5 years ago.
