I've seen the other reviews, but he was nearby and I took a chance...His shop looks terrible, but he did a great job at an ok price. He was also late on the delivery. I'm going to bring my other chairs to him - he did exactly what I wanted. I wasted a couple of hundred on another shop. I'm really pleased with the way it came out - a complete redo of an important office chair. 
I don't understand the others saying that he "hits" on the customers. He's too old to care. I think the other reviewer has an axe to grind - probably doesn't like the way his shop looks. I agree, I think he should clean it up a bit.

update - he took 3 months to do my second chair and did a poor job! why couldn't he do the same thing he did for the other chair. I even brought him a picture and said do the same thing! not worth redoing the whole thing. very unreliable unfortunately
