"Joe Dusel Photography specializes in portraits and event photography. We do portraits for individuals, families, and pets. We have done campaign photography for a number of local political candidates. We photograph events such as union conferences, political conferences, fundraisers, forums, debates and town hall meetings. We have done pro bono photography for organizations such as Amnesty International, the NAACP and the North County LGBTQ Resource Center in Oceanside.All of our studio sessions are by appointment only.Incidentally, we are not a furniture store, but Google keeps insisting that we are."

I first met Joe at a convention I attended at the Escondido Center for the Arts a few years ago. He was photographing the event and I was taking snapshots. I saw his work online later, and I was impressed at the difference between his professional photography and my own hobbyist pictures of the same people. He has some amazing landscape photography online that demonstrates his artist's perspective and versatility. One of Joe's talents is grabbing the essence of the person he is photographing. Whether he captures a quick smile, an unconscious gesture, or finds just the right angle to make his subject look real, every one of his pictures has a quality that marks it as professional. I have some studio portraits that Joe took of me. I couldn't be happier with them! If you need professional studio photography, I recommend Joe Dusel.
Joe Dusel is an excellent photographer. He made me feel relaxed as I set up my drawings and oil painting for my photo shoot session. I had a basic purpose for this photo session but he offered a number of creative ideas that really made sense and inspired me. I received rave reviews from students and friends when I posted my photos on FB and in my monthly newsletter. I highly recommend Joe Dusel!!!
I had a last minute booking for a my presentation and I needed a great photographer. My two main photographers were booked and so I contacted Joe whom I had met just a week prior at an activist event. He was a available and his fee was reasonable - especially given the very short notice. He showed up early, discussed all my needs, and delivered some fantastic photos for me speech. Money well spent!
