I have the privilege of working with Dr Henry at LECOM, School of Dental Medicine, and I would like to negate the review posted here.  Dr Dan Henry is one of the most skilled and knowledge Restorative Dentist I have every worked with.  (I am prior Military and worked with MANY other Dentists in my career).  He is very thorough, and perhaps the "two other dentists" were telling the patient what he wanted to hear, vs interceding EARLY in the cavity process.  The absence of pain or symptoms, is NOT the absence of disease.  Also, Dr Henry explains ALL treatment options to the patient, allowing them to make the BEST decision, for their health care.  I, too, favor gold, as a wonderful restorative material, it's longevity supersedes all other materials, in the right hands.  Failure to inform, and "assuming" the patient would want a lesser valued material, is an "decision" a lot of Dentists make.  I know Dr Henry offered less costly material choices, as he does with all his patients.  Perhaps the "patient" should have declined the gold option and chosen something better suited for both his pocket book and life-expectancy.  Dr Henry is an exceptional clinician with integrity, and is respected in the Restorative Dental Community as ONE OF THE BEST. - Susan M Welch, DDS, FAGD

The Used Car Salesman of Teeth - He will always try to up-sell you on gold fillings since they last even if your 80 yrs old, and it makes no sense... I was told I had 6 cavities - I had four filled and then figured out that he was full of it - that was 4 years ago (2012)  and I still have not had the other two "Supposed" cavities filled in 2016, I have never had any pain and two other dentists were unable to find any evidence of cavities there... The rest of the office staff is just as bad - but that's a much longer story
The only reason its not one star is Mercedes, she's one of the best hygienist I have been to
