The deli salads I bought were only okay. A few didn't have the price listed so they were a bit more expensive than I expected. I recommend trying each salad you plan on purchasing before you buy it. Although I found communication difficult so asking prices and taste testing wasn't really an option or I would have done that. 
I was really frustrated that the man who packaged the salads seemed really confused about how to scoop the salads so that they weren't all only one ingredient. He scooped up all the nuts into the oriental chicken salad and none of the chicken. He also gave me so much sauce vs noodles in another salad that it leaked all over the cart and myself. I had to correct both situations, which was difficult since he didn't seem to speak English very well and the other employee was distracted.
The other disappointment was the very small selection of over the counter medications and the prices are crazy high. 2x to 3 times as expensive as my usual grocery store. In general, it's just way more expensive than anywhere else I've shopped lately.

Small store. Good selection and close to U. Pricey for a neighborhood market. Deli decent. Lots of parking!

It is a nice super market. Produce is good, the deli has good choices, there is a variety of fresh meat and fish. Lunch menu and salad bar. Dairy section and eggs. A bakery is also on site.

Shopped at Dan's Market on Foothill today. Friendly, helpful workers made my shopping experience exceptional!
