This is my local Smiths. It’s located in Rose Park, I’ve recently noticed the upgrades which are nice, along with the upgrades I assumed Smiths was going to be a nicer place in general. I was checking out at the self check out and had an clearance item that would not scan. I tried all the alternatives to get the item to go through but all failed. I asked for assistance and the employee told me not to use the self check out if I didn’t know how to use it. I understand being firm but she was plain rude.

It's a Smith's.  But I have to say that I notice that Smith's are different depending on the neighborhood.  The selection of organic, vegetarian and vegan food is substantially less at this Smith's.  The staff have always been great at this location.   I'm not really fond of meat departments that don't have an on site butcher.   Overall a good store.  Oh, their pharmacy has always been very good to work with.

This is a basic grocery store with basic groceries . Don't plan on finding seasonal foods here . example fall we start craving pumpkin spiced this and that . Only thing they have is pie. They change the store around a lot drives me crazy . you go in knowing where something is so you can get in and out and now you have to do a product relocation hunt to find it .They do not have sushi here. Rarely yogurt parfait with fresh fruit. Older employees (stockers) have heard negative statement s about how overworked they are. Cashiers like to chat some to chatty younger ones need training on appropriate cashier conversations. Couldn't order a cake after 5:00.

There smith is great! But if you have a cell phone to make a call, don’t bother they don’t have service. But everything is great! The employees are always kind and welling to help you. There store is always clean and organized. Great place to shop.

I frequent his grocery store almost every day. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Prices are slightly higher but if your willing to play their fuel points system its not much difference.
