My sales receipt says 'Warren' on it, so I hope that's who helped me today. I need a wide shoe, so I was concerned that the 2E width Danner offers wouldn't be enough for me. 'Warren' didn't miss a beat when I asked about widths. He was a great sales guy, leading by asking how I use my boots and if there were any features or concerns I had. He showed me the Vicious line, explaining that the 'lasts' (shoe molds used in manufacturing, if you will) for these boots tend to be a little wider than the others, in spite of their 2E rating. I tried them on and they were perfect. My popular shoe size for that popular color boot just happened to be out of stock, but he offered to get it transferred in a couple of days. I chose to get another color instead. At the register I was surprised when the total was less than I had calculated in my head. Warren had listened when I spoke of prior experiences with their products in the Army, because he applied a 10% discount at the register for me and thanked me for my service. This is my first experience with a Danner retail store and it certainly won't be my last. Well done, team.

I have visited this store twice while looking around at Renton landing, intending on buying a pair of boots. Both times I walked in and literally got no greeting. Just ignored while I took a complete lap around the store. Mind you I was the only customer in the store both times. The girl at the check out was deep in her phone doing something more important than selling product I guess. I like a laxed shopping experience but at least say hello, and ask if I need some help. I love the danner product but simply took my business online, I wasn't gonna beg them to take my money at this flagship location.

I bought a pair of their boots and could not wait to get them off my feet at the end of the day. I took them back and was told by a little hipster sales guy " uncomfortable isn't a good enough reason to return them". Got the same response from corporate. $300 down the drain, I'll never buy Danners again.
