I went into this business this past fall to get some information and browse. I had been having some difficulties with shifting the gears on my mountain bike and wasn't entirely sure the problem. The employee I spoke with was able to figure out the problem and present solutions-my gear was stripped out. He let me know the price of the part as well as the cost for them to install it, but he didn't pressure me on the installation. When I asked if I could use a gear knob from a parts bike at my home, he confirmed that I could, as long as it had the same # of gears as the broken one. Overall, great customer service without being pushy for a sale.

These guys are awesome. I've been to the shop twice for repairs. Each visit has been great! The staff is very friendly, their prices are reasonable, their repair service is phenomenal, their customer service is amazing, and the turn around time is better than expected! I would definitely recommend them.

My wife and I stopped in last Saturday just to browse. Within minutes a gentleman (Caleb I think) came out from the service area to ask if he could help us with anything. We said no since we were still just looking around (our first time in the place). However about 10 minutes later Dave comes and asks if he can help us and since I did have some questions at this point we get to talking. He was extremely helpful and honest with me when I mentioned what kind of cycling I do and made some great recommendations. He even offered to make a phone call to Jamis to see if one I was interested in was still available and call me this week with more info. All in all we probably spent about 20 minutes talking with Dave and at no point did he pressure me one way or another or give the impression that he had other things to be doing. On the contrary he was very insightful and patient since I am a big time cycling newbie (he didn't even make comments about the fact that my current bike is a Walmart bike lol). A+ customer service! I can't wait to hear back from him about the Jamis bike I was interested in and will look forward to updating this review in the future. Update: Dave came through and called me that next week about the bike I was interested in. Really great customer service from folks who genuinely care about their clients!

Loved working with Dave last week with the purchase of some biking accessories. He worked out a custom arrangement I could not have arranged at another bike shop--made my trip to Idaho Falls excellent. I highly recommend doing business with Dave--he's fair, honest and runs a great operation....

My parents love Dave's Bike Shop - they do the weekly rides and sometimes pop in to see what new gear has come in. Whenever I need a gift idea for my folks, I run to Dave's and I always manage to find an employee who knows exactly who my folks are, what they tend to like, and what gear they've been eyeing. The folks at Dave's really get to know and care about their customers and it's made birthdays and holidays a lot easier for me!
