Great last minute deal. 45 minute walk from the Rabobank Arena. Includes a minimal continental breakfast. Close to almost every fast food chain imaginable and Hwy 99. High points include a well maintained pool and a 'hot' tub that wasn't hot but rather a refreshing relief from sun bathing. Also, standard checkout is at 12pm. Very will to extend it to 1pm but not past that without a fee.

When I first arrived there, the place was surrounded by police cars. The days inn doesn't offer refunds so we had to stay or lose our money. We asked for a NON Smoking room, our first room smelled like an ash tray and our new room didn't like it, it smelled weird we asked for top floor it was ground floor but we delt with it. the first night we had about two hours of sleep due to the upstairs neighbors banging on the floor, screaming and fighting. Pretty sure it got physical due to the blood curling screams coming from upstairs, the staff didn't do anything till hours later and they still didn't stop, the police had to come. It simmered down for a bit then started up with stomping. The staff did NOTHING. We politely asked for clean sheets come back to the same sheets as before. AC is broken it blows out hot air, staff didn't bother with it. Housekeeping just barges in without knocking and if they do knock it's once and open the door right after, they don't even wait for you to respond. NEVER GOING BACK, not even if you paid me too.

This place was probably one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The staff was super friendly and did her best to help us. So I give her 4 stars for that. When my group got to our room turns out there was no towels in anywhere to use. So I immediately called front desk to get towels. Waiting about 20 minutes. And finally went to the front desk. She was helping two more guests before me so I waited patiently that was about another 15 to 20 minutes. Finally it eas my turn it turns out they didn't have any towels ready however they have pool towels so I took two to use for the time being. Eventually after we left our room that was a good hour to an hour and a half someone finally brought us towels.

only ok because there was no fridge and no microwave. had to leave my daughter's milk in ice hoping that was good enough. the room was clean and the employees were very polite and understanding. they were not rude or rushing me out as i checked out late

My husband and I were on a road trip and needed to stop in Bakersfield for the night. As soon as we pulled up to Days Inn I knew that it was nothing like the pictures I had seen. The place was extremely run down. Glass was busted out of doors and there were holes in the ceiling. There was a gate to some of the property that was clearly placed there to keep some people out. The parking lot was full of people loitering. We felt completely unsafe. We returned the key immediately and got the heck out of there!
