Hosts Robin and Karla are beyond hospitable! We stayed in the Saloon/Guesthouse and it was cozy, unique and charming. Robin took us on a tour out in the mountains, taught us (or tried to) how to rope, gave us a tour of some historic buildings they're restoring and filled us in on so much Young/Pleasant Valley history. And you can tell they do what they do because they love it! Definitely a one of a kind experience you can't pass up!

Took a tour of the Dead Broken Inn today it is a must place to stay if you want to go back in time to the old western day of the 1800s , full house , with a saloon and a shooting gallery . Loved it.

Great experience...The owners are some of the most friendly hosts we've ever met. They built a campfire...let us shoot in the gallery and allowed us to hang out in the saloon.The place is clean and very...very...unique. Its truly one of a kind....Kids loved it...wife loved it...I loved it!...Thanks for the hospitality!

We just spent the weekend at the Dead Broke Inn with hosts Karla and Robbin. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accomodation is a darling little house with an old west motif situated next to a refurbished saloon, both of which boast some of Karla's original artwork. She is an amazingly talented artist. It isn't like staying at an impersonal motel. It's more like visiting family. We are already planning our next trip back and are looking forward to our promised roping lessons!!!
