REGARDING JAME'S REVIEW: James, you NEVER once, came to the office to complain OR to allow us to fix these so called issues??? In fact, you told Ken (owner) that everything was fine. However, a week later you wrote and demanded compensation or you would WRITE A BAD REVIEW" Your "THREAT" to write a BAD REVIEW if we didn't compensate you "WILL NOT BE TOLERATED" here at Mountain Meadows Cabins Regarding the JACUZZI'S, we drain & cleaned the Jacuzzi's each time a customer leaves! We put fresh water & chemicals in & set the temperature to 100 degrees! Had you needed to have the Jacuzzi refreshed after 3 day then AGAIN, if you would have brought this to our attention we could have helped but you didn't??? BATHROOM DOOR, no we don't have a wood door however, there is a curtain & window in the bathroom and air freshener. You STATED that you read the reviews, then you should have known that there wasn't bathroom doors from previous reviews. The mattress in Cabin #5 is brand new and the extra foam mattress was bought and never in our home so we decided to use it in the cabin. AGAIN, this was NEVER brought to our attention??? KITCHEN STOVE, after your complaint via an e-mail we tested the two stove top burners, they both were "HOT" not sure why you said they didn't work. AGAIN, not sure why you never brought this to our attention??? Your question, "why do we have good reviews?" We have good reviews because we're HONEST and take pride in our property. We take all complaints seriously and always take care of rectifying the problem immediately either with compensation OR fixing the issues. You stayed in our cabins for 3 days, surely, if the cabin was so terrible, you would have brought it to our attention which you never did or left, you did neither. Furthermore, for you to state the reason we're selling the property is because we can't keep up on maintenance just proves your lack of honestly & integrity!!! Best Regards, Ken & Diana

My girlfriend found the Mountain Meadows Cabins on line and they had good reviews so we gave them a shot, it was for the Labor Day holiday weekend and we were surprised they not only had cabins still available but even 2 with hot tubs and this was only with a few days’ notice. We knew from the website photos that it was a small cabin and that was just fine with us. It is about 25 miles out of Payson, and nestled way up in the mountains away from city sounds or lights. When we arrived, we found it to be quaint and cute and very cozy, they provide muffins and morning coffee to their guests. Entering the cabin, we found t to be cute and looked neat and clean, that feeling ended soon as the smell hit us. There is a stale, mildew smell in the cabin and then the water and hot tub have their own unpleasant smells. The small is not horrible and we were able to deal with it. The next thing we found was the hot tub was only at 98 degrees, we did get in but it was too cool so I tuned up the temp to 102 and then 104 degrees but it didn’t get warmer, in fact it got cooler, by the time we left it was down to 93 degrees. The in room hot tub was one of the main reasons we wanted to go, so that was a huge disappointment. The next big shock was the lack of a bathroom door, there is a small curtain but no door. This is a very small cabin, no door, no fan, no bathroom vent, I mean really!!!! Next was the bed, it is so worn out and had a thick piece of foam rubber on the top. It was like sleeping on a foam mattress and very uncomfortable, the cheapest hotels I have ever stayed in had much better mattresses. The last thing was the stove, it is very old and on top of that didn’t work. It gets warm but not hot and you cannot cook on it. The whole place is for sale and it looks like maybe they can’t keep up with the needed maintenance. I am not sure how they have gotten so many good reviews, it is just not a nice place and certainly not a romantic getaway.

Ken & Diana are such wonderful hosts! They keep the cabins nice and clean and it is such a relaxing place to visit. This will be our third year visiting and we still love to visit such unique and beautiful cabins. Another thing we love is the in room Jacuzzi available in several of the cabins! We can't wait till we get to come back next year!

My boyfriend and I stayed here about a month ago! It was such a peaceful and relaxing time. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owners were great people and the setting was immaculate. The cabins were perfect size and they had a very homey feeling to them. Make sure you bring enough food and supplies for your stay because it is about a 40 minute drive back to Payson! Walking around the area by the cabins, we seen elk and deer each day we went out. It was an incredible time. I highly recommend booking your cabin with Mountain Meadows!!! You won't regret it :)

We arrived at the cabin and were pleasantly surprised by the quite and serene surroundings. The cabin was clean and homey. The barbecue and fire pit were very convenient. Great for families if you rented multiple cabins. One single cabin perfect for two people and a dog. Close to lots of great hiking and sites, yet far enough away to feel away from it all. Good wifi, if you care about that. WE will definitely return.
