TLDR: Flower delivery never came. Ordered nearly a week in advance, misled 3 times over the phone by rude/rushed (understandably since it is a busy day) associates the day of Valentine's Day, promised the delivery, never actually delivered, ruined surprise for a loved one. Read on for the details. I may be an outlier, but if you read other reviews and read things like "rude associates", "delivery is bad", "never delivered", then please think before you waste your money here. 

First review ever written for any establishment (food/drink, entertainment, consumer goods etc.). I felt compelled to write this using my real Google account (not some alt account or alias). I did not give them a 1 star because people like to throw out the outliers and most of the time 1 star and 5 stars are either fake or furious customers. Well this is a furious 2 star customer. 

First of all, we all know florists and supermarkets up-charge for Valentine's Day. It's just the game we all play. I get it. But for an establishment that calls themselves a "florist", wouldn't you know, year in and year out, that Valentine's day is one of your busiest days? Wouldn't you want to pay a few extra drivers a measly margin out of your incredible mark up to make sure you get things right, so that you win the business of first time customers for other occasions and Valentine's Days forever?! You would think so! 

So I am trying to surprise a loved one. I called late mid-morning to see where my order was. First associate said they driver is in the area and will be making the delivery soon. Called again early afternoon as I hadn't heard if my loved one received the flowers or not. Second associate (Mary) was rude and rushed to get me off the phone without solving any of my issues. She claims they have no way of tracking deliveries (which is against the claim of associate 1) and says you'll get the delivery soon. By 3pm, (flowers that late in the day, after many of your coworkers received flowers first thing in the morning, come on) I called again and Mary said she'd try and contact the driver. Never happened. Randomly, a third associate calls me and asks what's wrong. I explain and this time, she tells me that even if you make an order way in advance, they will deliver between the window of 9-5 (refuting associate 1 again) and contradicts herself by saying they prioritize business deliveries first. I explain to her m y loved one is in a business, and then goes on to say they'll deliver within the window. Wut? So by the end of it all, they shoot me an email saying th e delivery will still happen so I wait and see. Now it is 6:35 pm CT and there was no delivery. 

Understandable frustration, understandable that the associates are flustered (it's a busy day). But wouldn't ownership or management look out for the best interest of everybody and plan a little better? This isn't your first day, Oak. Needless to say, I will never, ever come back and I recommend you at least think before you order a delivery from here. 1800Flowers or Pro Flowers esque company. Thanks for reading and cheers!

When you need the very BEST for the very BEST get these guys! I needed some roses sent very quickly and they had it out there ON TIME
